The first technical meeting on the unification of sectorial licenses of the Investment Facilitation and Promotion Working Group was held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in Gulkhana Palace, Office of the Frist Vice President of I.R.A.
Unification of sectorial licenses and their distribution from a single source will not reduce the revenues of licensing departments. As always, the revenues of the licenses distribution departments are transferred to the accounts. In addition, standardization of licenses will increase the value of licenses and the revenues of these offices.
All participants of the meeting agreed with the proposal of the General Directorate of Central Registration and Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to unify the sectorial licenses and implement the presidential decree. Also, they supported the draft law on licenses, because without a legal basis, this process will not succeed. The authorities decided to review and amend their strict rules to facilitate the licensing process as much as possible. Unification of licenses will be divided into several stages and will be prioritized. The General Directorate of Central Registration and Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce shares its work plan with the relevant departments for consultation in this regard.
Participants of this meeting are the esteemed representatives of the PriSEC Committee – First Vice President, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Information and Culture, Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education, Ministry Public Health, Ministry of Economy, National Environmental Protection Agency, and Technical Vocational Education and Training.
